Love the message here. Quality over quantity. Reminds me of the 80/20 rule too… just focus on the crucial few, and don’t waste time on things that are a waste. There are certain cases where quantity does prevail over quality but it doesn’t apply to most blogs, just huge content websites.

I agree with this.
I blog for a few reasons. I’ve found it is a great way of helping my site’s search engine ranking, so one reason is to help market my business. Since I do business face to face with people, it helps for them to get an idea of who’s going to answer the phone or reply to their email if they contact me.
The business I’m in is full of different programs and opinions- some based on science and too many based on profit only. I like to let people know my opinion on certain topics so they know where I stand before they consider hiring me.
I’ve noticed there is a direct correlation between some of my sites stats and the number of contacts I get, but I don’t let numbers become the number 1 or two priorities when blogging.
