Boost your health with fresh juice.

One of my goals for 2011 is to juice daily. Have I accomplished my goal? Let’s just say, I am still working on it.

Since, I have done research for this article, I will have 8 ounces of fresh juice daily.

It is something about reading the benefits and seeing it all in writing that motivates me to make this goal a reality.

Importance of Juicing

It is a known fact that many people are deficient in vital nutrients because of poor eating habits. Years of eating poorly result in poor health.

Juicing nature’s bounty can get you the vital nutrients that you are lacking without having to pop a pill.

Juicing regularly and drinking freshly prepared juice daily can result in your feeling better. Why not give juicing a try to see how it works for yourself.

What is Juicing?

Juicing is a process that one uses to extract the juice from fruits and vegetables. A juicer is an appliance that you should have in your possession because it helps you meet your goal.

The goal is freshly prepared juice. No preservatives, pasteurization, or anything, only juice from fresh organic produce made by your own hands.

Juicing separates the fiber from the juice in the vegetables and fruits, which results in nutritious juice. The juice has vital nutrients that the cells uptake immediately.

These nutrients are quickly absorbed in your body and you get the benefit of the vitamins and minerals fast.  There is no need for you body to spend energy separating the fiber from the juice. Your juicer does it for you.

Get Started Juicing

      It is great that you eat a lot of whole vegetables and fruit. Yeah, many people are juicing, but I wouldn’t replace it for eating whole vegetables and fruit.

      That’s cool! I tend to have an issue with anything floating in my beverages. I guess it’s a texture thing for me. But I do sometimes leave the fiber in my juice. I don’t always strain it.

    Juicing has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. It helps me maintain weight loss and my skin glows. It also gives me energy! When I start drinking a glass of juice I find myself drinking it quickly. My body just craves it now. Our bodies recognize what is good for us. Thanks for this post Evelyn!

    I love to drink fresh juice, only problem is the price of fruits compared to the juice you can get out of them. Fruits over here are kind of expensive, it would bankrupt me to buy them every day for me and my family.

      Yeah, I totally understand.

      When it comes to price for achieving and maintaining optimal health, I try not to let money be the determining factor, but sometimes it is not so easy. I usually try to grown my own food in the warmer months, which helps me keep a little money in my pockets. And I also eat fruits and veggies that are in season. Those are usually the cheapest to purchase.

    Very nice post! I personally drink juice daily, but not “freshly made.” I buy it ready 😉 I know it is not the same as the fresh one. I probably should start making one glass a day fresh juice.

    I have tried fresh orange juce and fresh lemonade and I must say, it is not only beneficial, but it also tastes good Evelyn. 🙂 Thanks for sharing

      Well, there are some companies that offer high quality juice freshly pressed, but very few. It really depends on the company you’re getting it from. But, yeah fresh is always better. Live enzymes and all the good stuff! 🙂

      I think fresh orange juice is the best! Totally different taste from what we find in the stores.

    Juicer, I love juicer, I like juice, and these days I see how you can add veges and fruits together to make a less sweet more nourishing and tasty juices. But for last few years, I was choosing direct fruit more than juice, because fruit’s fiber is as good to the body as the juice. But reading your post I felt, the maximum advantage to the body will come in the form of juice, it will work like a vitamin from the vitamin bottle but more fresh and effective. Let me know if my perception is right, because I know you know it. I want to know exactly how you know. Thank you so much for such a nice post about juice.

    You are doing such an awesome job of empowering people with healthy habits. I wish my children can do it too.

      Yes, to juice! 🙂

      Juicing is more effective than taking a vitamin, but if you think you need supplements, by all means take them. I do! Juicing is simply an added healthy treat that will give you the healthy boost you need. I have also read about people being cured from certain diseases like cancer, just by changing their diets and taking in large amounts of freshly prepared juice. I’m a believe that juicing does boost and improve the health. See and read about Rev. George Malkmus. His story is very inspiring.

      Continue to eating whole fruit, because the body needs the fiber, but adding fresh juice daily is good to do also.
