I tried the Aubrey Rosa Mosqueta shampoo and conditioner on my daughter’s hair before trying it on my hair. Our hair is similar and if a product works well for her hair, it works well for my hair too. My daughter’s hair responded well and I knew it would be a keeper.

About my hair
My hair is not chemically processed or color-treated. Prone to dryness, but I do not usually have problems with dryness, unless I use the wrong products. My hair is considered extremely curly and my texture is medium.
Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Shampoo
I like the scent of the shampoo. It smells like roses, but not a strong scent of roses. It also has a slight herbal smell.
The consistency of the shampoo is like a light gel. It is not a runny shampoo.
I chose this shampoo because I needed a shampoo that removes minerals and other impurities. My water system is an individual well-water system and classified as hard water.
This shampoo cleanses my hair very well and I do not have to use much. It does not make it feel dry or stripped and it rinses away clean.
The only con is the price. I usually buy when it is on sale. I lucked up and found it on sale at the Vitamin Shoppe for seven dollars and some change.
The Rosa Mosqueta shampoo should last a few months, especially since I do not need to use a large amount to cleanse my hair.
Overall, I like this shampoo and I do not have any issues with my hair feeling dry, brittle or hard.
Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Conditioner
I have tried many conditioners from Aubrey, but the Rosa Mosqueta is by far the best I have ever tried.
I am not too fond of the scent of this conditioner. The smell of the conditioner is herbal. I wished it smelled like the shampoo, but it does not. I can excuse the scent, because it works so well on my hair.
The consistency is creamy and easy to distribute through my hair. It detangles my hair very well. I was impressed with the detangling ability.
Sometimes, I use too much conditioner and I have to remember to ease up when using the Rosa Mosqueta conditioner. It does not take much of this conditioner, because it distributes very well. It is also rich, creamy and thick and it has a smooth feel.
The only downside of the Rosa Mosqueta conditioner is the price. It is the best conditioner I have ever used and the price is not an issue. There are websites that sell it for a few dollars less and I will be on the look out for those sales.
Overall, I like this conditioner. My hair is soft and moisturized, not weighed down or coated.
Final Thoughts
The Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner are excellent products. They are pricey, but by far the best moisturizing combo that I have used on my hair to date.
I am glad that I tried this shampoo and conditioner, because I almost gave up on finding anything natural with organic ingredients. I feel good knowing that this shampoo and conditioner are not tested on animals and are vegan.
My search for the right moisturizing shampoo and conditioner has ended. Finally!

Hello! This is great info, as I struggle to find natural products that aren’t too strong. I use the no poo method three to four days a week and shampoo once or twice a week. I love Aubrey Rose Mosquetta Revitalizing Therapy Serum for my crinkly wrinkles. It’s such a lovely moistuizer. And similar to your shampoo/conditioner reveiw, a little goes a long way. I do the no poo method also, well low poo because I do use Aubrey shampoo. I went no poo for 1-2 weeks and was only cowashing, but I discovered that doesn’t work well for me in my kind of water, so I’m glad I tried the Rosa Mosqueta shampoo, because it works well with the type of water system that I have. My hair is so much softer than when I was only cowashing.

A while back, I used the Honeysuckle Rose by Aubrey’s , and it was very thick and moisturizing. Since then, I have found other conditioners (not necessarily all natural) that work just as well for less. I love the ingredients, but not necessarily the price! The scent was very pleasant – reminding me of the scent of fresh honeysuckles. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I will look online for Aubrey’s conditioners for a lesser price. Your review has me very curious about the Rosa Mosqueta. Have you tried it as a leave-in, or do you only use it as a rinse out conditioner?

I use a few other conditioners that are not all natural too. Tresemme Naturals is one that I works pretty good. I just have issues with the smell.
Honeysuckle Rose was just okay for me (need more moisture). My hair dries out fast and does not stay soft with HSR. iherb.com now has Honeysuckle rose for $6.00. They have some good deals. Vitacost is another good site that you can check (luckyvitamin, swansonvitamins, etc.). I would recommend that you get a smaller size of the Rosa Mosqueta and see how you like it before investing in the larger size.
Yes, I have used it as a leave-in and as a rinse-out. I could probably get away without using a leave-in when used as a rinse-out. I used about a pea/dime size amount for a leave-in, emulsified it in my hands and applied it to my hair. My hair is shorter now and it really doesn’t take much. I think I could easily get over moisturized hair by using too much (rinse out or for a leave-in). I am learning that I don’t need a lot of this conditioner.
I used the product last night (July 17) and my hair is still soft and moisturized. It actually feels silky.
