steps to success

Have you felt like you would fail before ever trying? I know you have because I have, but guess what I did? I tried, and after trying, I realized that either, what I was working on wasn’t for me, or I needed to find another way. Keep this in mind, “Don’t give up before giving your all.”

It doesn’t matter if you are working on weight loss, managing stress, or growing a business, or social media following for your brand. In order to reach any of the goals you set for yourself, you must work hard, as they say, today, you have put your nose down and grind.

I’m learning that those who put in the work get results. The results may not come when you want them to come, but you will get results, especially if you keep striving for what you want. I believe without any doubts that you can do anything that you set your mind and will to do.

dare to be different

Today, I’m sharing my thoughts about being different and standing out in a crowded space. I know it’s not a health-related topic, but I won’t always talk about healthy living topics.

These days, I share more about motivation and inspiration, and I decided I will write about whatever I want because I have to be me. You’ll learn more after reading further in this post.

This week, Jeff Goins published a blog post and podcast, sharing his thoughts about being successful (innovative) while being different. Jeff is an accomplished writer and author, and I started following him a few months ago.

Jeff shared many golden nuggets in his podcast, but after listening to his 53-minute podcast, I took to the keyboard to write.

know

Have you ever allowed people or things to affect your decisions? I think each of us has experienced doing this some time in our lives.

You thought, if they are doing it and it works for them, I’ll give it a try. You try it and learn that it doesn’t work for you. When you know what to do, nothing or no one can shake you.

Ride in Your Lane

I love sharing stories, and I promise to keep this story short and to the point.

I started this blog in 2010, and I’ve seen many trends come and go with blogging, social media and doing business online.

I was reluctant to embrace social media, mostly because I didn’t understand how I needed to use it.

I even deleted a few accounts more than one time, but that’s not happening any time soon.

Doing What You See Others Doing

I observed what I saw others doing and I also did what some of my online buddies recommended.

I got disappointed and wanted to throw my hands up and walk away from everything.

I allowed situations and people to shake me because I didn’t know what to do.

However, today my situation is different because I know what to do.

Know WHAT to do

Invest in Learning What to Do

I invested in learning what to do, and now I am empowered and more confident than I’ve ever been.

People can compliment you all day long, but if you are not sure of yourself, then you won’t go anywhere.

Why I’m Telling You This

I know my story has nothing to do with living a healthy lifestyle, but I share this story because I want you to know that it’s okay to hire someone to help you.

I got tired of running on the hamster wheel. No more going in circles because nothing or no one can shake me.

Living a Healthy Lifestyle

There’s a lot of lifestyle information online these, and it can be confusing about what to eat and what not to eat.

And I’m just scratching the surface because there’s a lot of information to make a person give up with this lifestyle stuff.

That’s why it is imperative that you work with someone who can help you navigate through the sea of information.

Don’t Be Afraid to Hire Someone to Show you the Ropes

I used to be reluctant about hiring anyone for help because of past experiences.

But before you decide to work with anyone, follow them, learn how they work and how they can help you, pay attention to the information they share and get to know them.

Hiring someone to help you can be a life changing experience, just like it was for me.

Final Words

You must be willing to step outside the box and do things a little bit different.

You’ll walk confidently knowing that because you know what to do, nothing or no one can shake you.

Be confident in yourself and never be afraid to go against the grain.

Until next time.
