Gotcha!: The Subordination of Free Will | Book Review

September 21, 2015 by Evelyn Parham

Have you ever questioned what you see going on today in society?  Some of us never question what we see or what we hear.  We simply accept what is, without giving much thought about  the whys and the hows. We simply go along to get along.  No one wants to rock the boat.

I received a copy of Eldon Taylor’s, Ph.D. new book, Gotcha!:  The Subordination of Free Will. I am glad I read, Gotcha, because it is truly an eye-opening book.  It is the kind of book, that definitely held my attention.

Is the mind really free?  Dr. Taylor dedicates this book to all who seek a free mind.  If you seek a free mind, you need to read this book.

About Gotcha!

Cost:  $27.95 | Chapters:  28 | Pages:  468
“For the past thirty years, my work has been focused on developing tools and techniques for personal empowerment and in the search for the higher meaning to life. As such, many of my regular readers may be surprised at the material in this book. While I have often discussed ways in which we have been manipulated into making choices that are not our own, never before have I created such an encyclopedia of techniques that are being used against us on a 24/7 basis.” – Excerpt from Introduction

“It is my firm belief that knowledge is power. It is only when you clearly see the techniques in play that you are able to protect yourself from them, make your own choices, and begin the journey that is your birthright—the journey to personal empowerment and self-actualization.” – Excerpt from Introduction

My Review

Gotcha! definitely held my attention, even though it is a long read.  I have to admit, I felt a little bored with reading about research studies and the results from those studies, but I understand why they are in the book.

Once I started reading it, I could not put it down.  I am aware of some of the information that Dr. Taylor shares in Gotcha!, but there is also so much information that I did not know.

Dr. Taylor took the time to research and share the studies and real events that happened to back up how our freedoms are slowly slipping away from us.  He covers education, politics, media, neuromarketing, mind control, data mining and much more.

The information that Dr. Taylor shares will blow your mind.  A piece of information that he shares was mind-blowing for me.  I learned that a large company uses fetal tissue in food/beverage products to enhance the flavor of the food/beverage.  It is imperative that we read food labels and just not take the word of the company.  Do not assume that the a food/beverage is okay because it is inspected and approved for human consumption. When in doubt, leave it out (do not eat it).  Be your own food safety investigator.

Another piece of information I learned is how the government is slowly taking away our rights and our privacy. I am aware of this, but did not know the extent to which this is happening.  If we do not wake up and take a stand, we will find ourselves living in a society where we have no rights.  Dr. Taylor shares lots of information about this topic and shares the evidence/references to back up what he says.

What amazed me the most is the research experiments conducted, that as a biologist, I found unethical. Dr. Taylor includes a link to a website that lists some experiments that went horribly wrong.  As a I read the list, my jaw dropped.

Gotcha! has lots of information; it is mind-blowing.  I urge you to get your hands on Gotcha!:  The Subordination of Free Will.  It will definitely open your eyes and your mind to what’s really going on.

The information that Dr. Taylor shares in this book encourages me to pay more attention to everything and to keep my mind free.  Learn more about Eldon Taylor, Ph.D. and his new book at http://www.eldontaylor.com/books/gotcha/gotcha.html.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of Gotcha!: The Subordination of Free Will and this is my honest review.
