Are you becoming weary, because you do not see results? Each of us has felt like quitting at some time in life. Do you remember being weary and the lesson or lessons that you learned?
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. – Galatians 6:9 KJV
The Meaning
Weary means: 1. to become exhausted in strength, endurance, vigor, or freshness. 2. expressing or characteristic of weariness 3. having one’s patience, tolerance, or pleasure exhausted – Merriam-Webster
Ready to Quit
It wasn’t long ago when I verbally expressed my fatigue to my husband.
I felt defeated, exhausted, hopeless, and disappointed. My energy and faith had hit rock bottom. I had run out of gas and had no desire to refuel.
I am a mom, raising a child who has challenges. It is one of the most challenging experiences I have ever had in my life.
However, when I told my husband how I felt, about our daughter’s development, I stated, “What’s the use?”
I’ll stop here.
You Can Become Weary
I think growing weary is a regular part of living, but it also reveals who we are.
So, don’t think that you can never, ever become weary, because you will, and when you do you must remember why you’re doing what you’re doing.
You have to believe that you will get what you desire, even though the results are not yet evident.
Growing weary is okay, but you can’t stay there for too long, or you will give up.
Keep going, even when you feel like you don’t have the energy to go, for your health, eating, weight, or fitness goals.
Final Words
You may get weary, but you have to keep moving because if you faint not (don’t give up), you will see the results come to pass.
It is easy to give up, and sometimes situations get unbearable; keep going. You must keep moving because you are the only one who can do it.
You can’t give up now, especially since you are so close to getting results.
Keep doing what’s necessary, expect results, and don’t let weariness take you out of the game.
You are a winner.
Until next time.
Take care of you!
