I recently out did myself with a very tasty almond milk. What made this almond milk so tasty and special is that I did not use any processed sweeteners, like I have in the past. One taste of this almond milk and I was in heaven.
The best sweetener you can ever use is one found naturally in nature and that is usually fruit. Fruit is by far the best sweetener anyone can ever use. It is good for the body and also easier for your body to break down.
Once you switch to a plant-based diet, milk from any animal is a thing of the past. You can make wonderful nut and seed milks that are creamy and delicious. Nut/seed milks are actually healthier for you and are full awesome benefits.

You can make milk from any nut or seed of your choice. The most nutritious nut/seed milks are almond and sesame. Experiment and find the nut or seed milk that you like the best.

Best Almond Milk Ever
Ingredients:
2 cups of organic raw almonds
4 cups of water (if you want it creamier, then use less water)
4-6 dates (if you have larger dates, use less and if you have smaller dates, use more)
Directions:
Soak almonds over night to release enzyme inhibitors. The next morning/day rinse the almonds very well. Put almonds and water into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Grab a bowl and nut milk bag or cheese cloth to strain the liquid from the almond pulp. Do this all in your bowl.
At this point your almond milk is ready. But if you desire a sweet taste for your almond milk, then do this next step.
Pour the creamy almond milk back into the blender and add your dates. Blend until smooth. There will be small pieces of dates in the almond milk, but this is fine. If you want a little more flavor you can add it at this time.
Should last about 3-5 days, but I don’t think it will be around your house for that long.
Enjoy your glass of sweet, creamy, delicious and healthy almond milk. Made by you in your kitchen. Now it doesn’t get any better than that!
Your health is your wealth!

I am lactose intolerant and tradtional milk never worked for me, but when I went raw and discovered the various kinds of nut and seed milk that I could make I was so excited. I need to soak almonds for milk tomorrow, thank you for the reminder. 🙂
