Let’s Get Our Rebounding On

June 28, 2011 by Evelyn Parham

Let's Do This!!

I am known to start exercising and after a week or two I stop, but not anymore.  I am challenging myself to exercise 30 minutes a day for 21 days.  If I can stick with my exercise regimen for 21 consecutive days, then I will be on my way to exercising everyday with no problems.

One of the exercises that I will be sure to incorporate in my daily exercise routine is rebounding.  My goal is to do two 5 minute intervals on the rebounder and ultimately increase my time to two 10 minute intervals.

What is Rebounding?

A rebounder is a mini-trampoline.  This mini-trampoline allows you to give your whole body a workout at once.  It is a great way to detoxify your cells.  Rebounding gives your lymphatic systems a good bathing.  It helps move toxins out of your cells while increasing the cellular absorption of the necessary nutrients that your cells need.

Benefits of Rebounding

  • Helps fight fatigue
  • Strengthens the heart
  • Nourishes the heart
  • Improves circulation
  • Reduces blood pressure
  • Aids muscle training
  • Lowers cholesterol
  • Fights cardiovascular disease
  • Boosts red blood cells
  • Facilitates oxygen
  • Increase respiration
  • Aids muscle performance
  • Promotes body growth
  • Stimulates metabolism
  • Enhances digestion and elimination process
  • Aids endurance
  • Reduces obesity
  • Builds alkaline reserve
  • Aids peak cell function
  • Ease menstrual discomfort
  • Improves coordination
  • Aids in muscle tone
  • Builds strength reserve
  • Delivers muscle pain relief
  • Maintain peak brain function at any age
  • Brings on better sleep
  • Minimizes the number of colds
  • Stops premature aging

Who Can Rebound?

Anyone can rebound.  Just make sure you get clearance from your doctor.  Children love rebounding.  My daughter thinks she owns my rebounder.  It has helped her tremendously with her balance and coordination.

Learn More About Rebounders

I have an Urban Rebounder and I ordered it via Amazon.com. It is reasonably priced for starters.  If you find you like rebounding, then you can invest in a more expensive rebounder.

Do you rebound and how has it helped you?

There are too many exercising machines to name, but all of them work in some way if you just put in the efforts.
