Concerning #11, I was so surprised to discover that almond milk had so much calcium. I was even happier when I found a brand that I really enjoy. This information about plant-based calcium has relieved me of my concerns about getting enough calcium – since I no longer drink cow’s milk. For years, I drank it and did not associate the digestive discomfort that I experienced with the milk. Knowledge is so powerful!

Hi Trinity,
I appreciate you commenting on my posts!
It is amazing how much calcium is in plant-based foods. What brand of almond milk do you use? You can also make your own fresh almond or other nut/seed milks. I haven’t done that in a while (lazy). It is hard for me to believe that kale is high in calcium, but it is. Yeah, that cow’s milk is something else. So glad there are other healthier alternatives.
Yes, knowledge is power.
Have a great week!

I use Califia pure almond milk. I purchase it in the milk section at Earthfare. I would think that they might carry this brand at other healthy grocery stores, also.
