Forks Over Knives: Diet is Important

May 13, 2011 by Evelyn Parham

The trailer for Forks Over Knives sends a powerful message.  If you do not take anything home from this clip, please know that you are ultimately the one in control.  Diet is important, more than you will ever know.

I do not believe that you need to eat a vegan diet to be healthy.  But I do know that if you make little changes (increasing plant-based foods), then you will definitely notice a difference in your body.

I have not seen Forks Over Knives as of yet.  The trailer peaks my interest and hopefully I will see it soon.

Have you seen Forks Over Knives?  What do you think about the message in this clip?

I haven’t seen it yet, but I do agree we all need to take responsibility for our health. Noone will care as much about it as we do.. I’m sure the advertisers for McDonalds or Burger King don’t

Interesting Video! Thanks for sharing. I love both the fork and the knife, but my body agrees more with the fork. Healthy eating is indeed very important.

      Hi Chioma,

You’re not the only one who loves both the fork and the knife. 😉 But the key to most things is to not over do it.

Happy to know that your body agrees with the fork more.

Take care and thanks for stopping by!

This looks like a really thought-provoking film. I know that after quitting meat and reducing my egg and dairy intake I felt and saw a significant difference in myself.

    Hi Evelyn,

Exactly my friend, little changes in our diet can make a huge difference in our health. I personally believe if the individual eats fruits and vegetables daily, avoids eating fattning and red meat excessively, drinks water and exercises, then he/she is doing a great job working on their health. 🙂 Thanks for sharing my friend
